Walk 1

Cil Llidiart Farm & The Ridge Road

An ascent to the ridge behind the Ffarm with spectacular views out to the Llanddulas Gap and the sea beyond. This is a shorter version of Walk 3 and gives a taste of the wonderful countryside of North Wales.

Walk 2

Cil Llidiart Farm & The Bluebell Wood

A slightly longer walk than the first one but covering some of the same area but from a different approach and with an exit through the delightful bluebell wood of Nant-y-Fedw. The wood is carpeted with bluebells during late April and early May but is quite a contrast to the open grasslands of the hills and a wonderfully tranquil place to end one’s walk.

Walk 3

The Ridge Road & Coed Coch

A long walk taking in the entire ridge road with views over to Snowdonia. The ridge road is seldom used and there is a great sense of isolation up there before the descent towards the Coed Coch estate and a possible detour through a rhododendron wood.

Walk 4

The North Wales Coastal Path Detour

The Coastal Path which as the name implies follows the seashore for 60 miles from Chester to Bangor. However there is also a short inland detour between Llanddulas and Old Colwyn allowing for a contrasting circular walk combining the seashore and the hills of Llysfaen. Details of the path can be found on the Ordnance survey maps.
